“Anxiety does not empty tomorrow of its sorrows, but only empties today of its strength.”
Charles Spurgeon
Philippians 4:6-7
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
The Lord continues to bless at the Flea Markets in Florida. The team from Lakeland, lead by Randy and Joyce, are faithful and The Lord blesses their efforts with souls every week.
It takes real dedication and love for the lost to continue every Saturday, Sunday, and Monday plus any other opportunity they have to win souls at an event.
SOS is looking for more faithful servants like this couple and their team to Serve Our Savior at events.
If God is calling You, we are waiting for you to join with us in our goal to have teams of soul winners in every state. Email: info@sosevents.org or Phone: 813-494-7927.
Matthew 25:23
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things:enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Proverbs is the book of wisdom in the Bible. A good thing to do is read a chapter from Proverbs everyday. Today is the third day of the month so here are the first 2 verses from the chapter for today. (It applies to women also.)
Proverbs 3:1-2
My son, forget not my law;
but let thine heart keep my commandments:
For length of days, and long life,
and peace, shall they add to thee.
Need direction? The answer is in these two verses from Proverbs.
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.
Quote from SOS Events Founder, Tom Curtis about witnessing.
“You want to see what God can do? Get out and do what God told you to do.”
John 14:12
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
Flea Markets are a gold mine for evangelism. SOS Events now use Flea markets to train others and win the lost. SOS are seeing great success for presenting the gospel. The salvation leads are given to churches who are willing to do follow up. SOS Events also has a great follow up decipleship program. We are always looking for new churches and people to add to our team approach to bring the lost to Christ. When a church desires to learn another method to reach the lost give SOS a try. Training is free. Info@sosevents.org OR PHONE 813 494 7512.
Proverbs 11:30
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life;
and he that winneth souls is wise.
Seen on a church sign:
Faith makes things possible
Not easy
Mark 9:23
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
January is always an extremely busy month for the staff of SOS ministries. The office staff has end of the year reports to get finished, the shop has several projects to complete, there is preparation for the many events that take place in Florida in the winter and there are new people to be trained, some for event workers and some to be event leaders.
All this activity can cause us to get weary, but the Bible says we will reap if we faint not.
Why is all this activity so necessary? SOULS. All of the effort is with the goal in mind of winning many people to Christ.
The promise is in the verse. WE WILL REAP.
Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing:for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Today, if you have a need; believe and have faith in GOD who created the world, who saved your soul and who loves you and wants to give his child good things. Meditate on Him and thank Him for the answer.
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith it is impossible to please him:for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Today much of the USA has freezing, even dangerous weather conditions. Below zero in the north and snow and ice way into the south.
For several years we have heard the ” experts” say we have global warming, and I believe that God looks at our deteriorating nation with sadness for our lack of wisdom.
Jesus had some things to say about weather.
It is time for our Nation to wake up and stop wasteful spending trying to figure out the weather when God is in control of it.
Matthew 16:2-3
He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather:for the sky is red.
And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day:for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?
