The mother, Holly 36 & sons, Alexander & Aaron were saved yesterday. The mother was saved @ 12:40 however her sons were not with her. Later the family reunited & the sons heard their mother’s testimony of what the Lord had just done for her. The sons said they wanted to hear this message too. So 30 minutes later the boys came back & Joyce led them to the Lord Jesus as well. The husband/father & oldest son are in prison. Let’s pray for their salvation.

Acts 11:14
Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.

John 12:12-13
On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,
Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna:Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Saturday is a busy day for staff and volunteers at SOS Events. Today there is the weekly Flea Market in Auburndale, a big Egg Hunt at a large church in Fishhawk (1500) expected, a huge yearly yard sale at another church and many other events all around the country.
You can be a partner with SOS today by joining us in prayer for the various events. Pray that The Lord will draw people to the SOS booth, that the ones listening to the presentation will have the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and then that they will yield to that calling and be saved, also, that every convert will fill out a decision card so that we can send them a Bible study and they can begin to grow in Christ.
Please pray as soon as you read this, God will hear and answer as that is His desire to see souls saved.
2 Corinthians 1:11
Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

If you go into almost any store, grocery, clothing, or drugstore this time of year what you see first is colored plastic eggs, plush bunnies, colorful baskets and spring flowers. Signs may say Happy Easter but nowhere ( except a Christian Bookstore) do you find anything about Jesus and His death, burial and resurrection.
The very reason we have to celebrate Easter is forgotten and it has become a day to be with family, friends with all kinds of activity that has nothing to do with the worship of God.
Have we as Christians become like the retail stores and forgotten the true meaning of Easter?
This coming week let us focus on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.
Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

1 Corinthians 3:9
For we are labourers together with God:ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.

Jesus is our friend if we have accepted His death, burial and resurrection as full payment for all our sins.

John 1:36

“A little thorn may cause much suffering. A little cloud may hide the sun. Little foxes spoil the vines; and little sins do mischief to the tender heart. These little sins burrow in the soul, and make it so full of that which is hateful to Christ, that he will hold no comfortable fellowship and communion with us. A great sin cannot destroy a Christian, but a little sin can make him miserable….”
Charles Spurgeon
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

“Don’t say ‘Our Father’ on Sundays and spend the rest of the week acting like an orphan”
Galatians 4:6
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

“It seemed intended by the blessed providence of God that I should be blind all my life, and I thank him for the dispensation. If perfect earthly sight were offered me tomorrow I would not accept it. I might not have sung hymns to the praise of God if I had been distracted by the beautiful and interesting things about me.” Fanny Crosby
“Redeemed” “Blessed Assurance” “Rescue the Perishing” and over 8000 other hymns, some that we have in our hymn books, were written by Fanny Crosby who was blinded at 6 weeks of age by an incompetent doctor.
Her life affected multitudes of people through her beautiful hymns and praises to God.
God took a tragedy and turned it into a testimony that still is being used in our lives today almost 200 years later.
Isaiah 42:16
And I will bring the blind by a way that they knew not;
I will lead them in paths that they have not known:
I will make darkness light before them,
and crooked things straight.
These things will I do unto them, and not forsake them.

If you have been following this blog you know how we prayed for another Randy, and God sent us a Randy two weeks ago.
Then last week the phone rang and the man said, “Hi, my name is Randy and I want to join your ministry and take it back to Ohio.”
In the picture is Randy, his wife and another couple, he recruited.
Tom and I went to Webster Flea Market to train them and now SOS will have a team in Ohio.
We have now changed our prayer to, “Father, please send us some more men and women who have a passion for souls like Randy.”
God answers prayer specifically.
John 14:13-14
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
