- This photo was taken at the Plant City Farmers market that takes place every Wednesday. Randy Thomas (left) with a new convert. The look on both their faces radiates the joy they both feel. The young man is happy because his sins have been forgiven and Randy is joyful for the privilege of leading someone to the Lord. The people that come to the Lord at this Farmers market is increasing every week.

March 15, 2015Have you ever lost something that is precious to you?
My husband had given me a beautiful ruby necklace as an engagement present that I treasured. We had been traveling and living in a motor home and had just returned to Florida from Tennesee, when I realized my necklace was gone.
I was so upset, looked everywhere, in the car, swept the floor of the motor home, Prayed that the Lord would help me find it. My little grandaughter, then 2 years old said, “Grandma, I will pray you find your neck-a-lace.”
The next morning I awoke, looked in the mirror and saw a reflection of something shinny beside the bed. I reached down and picked up my necklace in a place I had swept before. God answers prayer. I rejoiced and immediately called my little granddaughter to tell her that God had answered her prayer.
Much more rejoicing over a sinner that repents the Bible tells us in Luke. Witnessing to people and giving them opportunity to repent and be saved is the main goal of SOS Events ministry. You can become a part of winning the lost. Email info@sosevents.org or call Tom 813-784-8242.

Marie, the Shy Soul Winner
March 14, 2015Marie is a mature lady, probably in her early 60’s. She has been a Christian for many years and has served the Lord faithfully. Church secretary, Sunday School teacher (for very young children), and a blessing to her friends and family, but had never won a person to the Lord.
The one thing that kept her from being a witness for Christ is that she Is painfully shy.
Staff from SOS Events came to her church to teach soul winning and to witness at a county fair.
The Pastor asked for volunteers to go to the training and sign up for a shift at the fair.
Marie wanted to do as the Pastor asked but she could never talk to strangers, she thought.
She did follow though, however, and her turn came to work in the booth at the fair.
The SOS trainer sat beside her and 2 young girls were brought to the table.
Marie would say, “what do I say now?” And the trainer would guide her through each step to led those girls to JESUS.
Both girls prayed and invited JESUS to be their Savior.
Marie was so excited. She needed a little more instruction but before her shift was over she had led several more people to Christ.
On the following Sunday, the Pastor asked for testimonies from the people who had worked at the fair. He said, “I will not ask Marie because I know she is to shy to come up and speak before the congregation.”
Marie spoke up, came up and gave a glowing testimony of how she was changed from being to shy to witness into a bold soul winner for Christ.
Soul winning not only changes the new converts life, it changes the person who is witnessing life.
Many Christians like Marie are to shy or afraid to witness for Christ. If you are one of them, SOS Events ministry can help through training, prayer and the Holy Sprit’s power. You too can become a bold witness for Christ.

God Gives Increase

Maria with new Spanish converts at Lakeland Flea Market. Every Sunday Maria, her husband, Pastor Romero, goes to the Flea Market to witness for Christ. They are so happy to have the opportunity to win souls.
In the last 3 Sunday’s over 50 people have made professions of faith.
Not only that but their church is growing.
In just 3 months since the church opened it has grown from less than 12 people to over 60, including several families.
Pastor and Maria believes that witnessing at the SOS Events booth has been the main reason for the growth. God is giving the increase as He promised in His Word.
1 Corinthians 3:6
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
Victory at Strawberry Festival
March 9, 2015
The little girl in this photo interpreted from Spanish to English so that her Mom and Dad could understand and be saved. She and her whole family accepted Christ. Mom and little brother were too shy to get in the photo but Dad was happy to stand with his young daughter to have their picture taken. This family of four will now spend eternity in Heaven.
There are so many stories of salvation to tell from Strawberry Festival 2015.
Eleven days. Early on rain and cold, then sickness and cancellation of some volunteers. But God had the victory and a total of 235 decisions were recorded. All of these converts will receive a Bible study and will have their names given to local churches in the area for follow up.
Praise the Lord for another year that SOS Events had the privilege of Serving Our Savior at Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Fl.

SOS Events is blessed to have a wonderful staff. Diana (left) is the office manager, board member, trainer and volunteer at events. Duey (right) is an SOS missionary, the maintenance man for the property and also volunteers for events.
They are pictured here with a new convert at the Strawberry Festival. Diana and Duey are representative of the many staff members of SOS. God is blessing the ministry with new growth, bringing in many dedicated hard workers into His harvest fields.

God’s Harvest
March 5, 2015Yesterday God gave a wonderful harvest at Plant City Farmers and Flea Market. Twenty-five souls in just a few hours. SOS Events is blessed to have dedicated volunteers who are willing to witness every Wednesday morning.
Pray with us for more volunteers to work in the market places. There are so many opportunities to witness in the USA while we still have the freedom to do so. There may come a day when that freedom may be taken away.
John 9:4

Changed Lives
March 3, 2015Every year at Strawberry Festival SOS Events has new soul winners. This event lasts 11 days, twelve hours every day. There are four people in the booth on each shift for a total of 132 plus staff that oversees that everything runs smoothly.
Some of the volunteers have never witnessed at a public event and they feel uncertain and even a little fearful. Then they start to see God move on the hearts of people and many come into the booth to be saved.
Those volunteers who were unsure that they wanted to work in the booth get so excited that they now call and ask to work again.
Soul winning not only changes the new convert’s life, it changes the person’s life who is the witness.
There have been many Christians who have never led a soul to Christ, that now are dynamic, bold witnesses for the Lord and several have become leaders, trainers and missionaries with SOS Events.
Ephesians 6:19
