And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15
Is the internet something to be thankful for? Yes!
It is true that there is a lot of evil that comes across on our computers, iPads and phones that we could have access to, but God always turns evil into good to reach people with the Gospel.
We have the privilege of presenting Jesus to the whole world through the web. Just this week, people from several countries have gotten on the SOS Events website and received the message of salvation.
Thank the Lord for all the people who have received salvation and have grown as Christians through the worldwide web.
Waking up in the morning to a beautiful sunny day.
As darkness falls the lights in our homes allows us to enjoy the evening.
The lights of a city skyline at night. How we complain when electricity goes out, even for a few minutes or longer. Light is important.
The Bible tells us a lot about light. Jesus is the light of the world. Without Him we would be in total darkness spiritually.
His Word also tells us that as Christians we are light. He uses a candle as the illustration. Do not hide your light under a bushel. It is our responsibility to tell others of the wonderful light we have. Jesus.
Today, thank the Lord for His light and then share that light with someone.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:15-16
It is a privilege to Serve Our Savior with SOS Events Ministry. Thankful for every missionary, trainer and volunteer who has been a witness for the Lord Jesus in the last 20 years.
Thank the Lord for all the souls who have come for salvation and assurance in those years. Thank you all for your service for Him.
Today is Veterans Day in the USA. A day to remember the brave men and women who fought so that we can live in freedom.
Also, a special thanks to the people who are in the military today.
We are free to choose our leaders, we are free to rear our children as we please, we are free to follow the path to any career we desire, and much more, because of the sacrifice of these men and women in the military.
Most of all we are free to worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus, who gives us true spiritual freedom.
Philippians 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you
Remember the challenge? Find something special to give Thanks to the Lord everyday in the month of November. What are you thankful for today? Have you shared it with someone else?
November is the month that in the USA we celebrate Thanksgiving. We need to be thankful everyday not just one day a year.
Especially when we are facing problems in our lives is the time we need to stop and reflect on how good God is to us. Here is a challenge for you… every day for the rest of the month thank the Lord for at least 3 things to be thankful for. Try to find new things each day. You will find your spirits lifted and your relationship to God will be closer each day.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Thanksgiving is next week. So all of this week and next, I will post something that I am thankful for.
SOS Events ministry is growing. Last week there were 3 new volunteers who worked in events. On Saturday, a couple that speaks Spanish volunteered at a local Food Distribution where 17 people trusted Jesus as their Savior.
SOS Events needs Spanish speaking volunteers, especially in Florida and that is my thanksgiving and praise, today. God sent 3 more to work on the Florida Team.
Hebrews 13:15-16 – By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
