If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

SOS Events is blessed to have faithful volunteers who go to the Plant City Flea Market in Florida every Wednesday, weather permitting.
This week over 20 people accepted Jesus as their Savior. Most of the people are Hispanic and speak Spanish.
Thankfully there are a few volunteers who speak Spanish but more bilingual workers are needed.
February and March are the busiest time of the year in Florida and we need more volunteers to help us at these upcoming events.
Please pray with us that all the needs of the ministry are met.
Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. Matthew 9:38

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 1 Timothy 5:17

Pastors are under attack today in every denomination. They are attacked from within their own church by disgruntled attendees and from without by those who don’t even attend or aren’t members of the church.
Some things you may not know about Pastors. Every Pastor has some of these problems.
Pray for your Pastor and do something to show your appreciation for him. Write a note, email or text him if you are fortunate enough to have his personal number.

December. The busiest month of the year for most people.
Christmas, Hanukkah, and other important events like birthdays or anniversaries take place this month.
We get so busy that we forget the most important thing. That is time for God. He sent his son, Jesus so that everyone has opportunity to accept him and have eternal life.
So today, the first Sunday of the year, let us decide to put Jesus first by starting everyday with Bible reading and prayer.

If you have a true friend you are blessed. If you have several good friends you are extremely blessed.
God gives us friends in our lives to come along by our side to uplift us in times of trouble or sorrow. They rejoice with us when we have joy. They are loyal.
Thank God for the friends in your life. Also, be a good friend to them. Maybe today, give your friend(s) a call. Write them a little note. Most importantly pray for them.

Pastor Mike Grover and his wife Cheryl are a great blessing to their family, friends and community.
He is a man of prayer and compassion for others. He preaches the Word of God and has a desire to see people saved and then to grow in their walk with the Lord.
If you have a Godly Pastor, thank the Lord for him today. Pray for him and his family. Pastors have a life that is filled with blessings, but they also have trials like everyone else.
They are responsible not only for their own family, but also for their congregation.
Today prayers go up for Pastor, Mike, and the many other Pastors that are on my prayer list. Will you join me as we pray for them? Pray for blessings, wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit as they preach the Word.
Pray for the people that listen will have hearts that are ready to hear. That unsaved will come to Jesus for salvation and Christians will be convicted of sin and live a life pleasing to God.
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 2 Timothy 4:2

Election is over. Christian, pray for our Country. For peace and unity.
Pray that God will bless America once again. Help us to confess our sins and ask God to forgive and cleanse our nation.
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

As Christians we can us Halloween to glorify Our God and Savior Jesus.
How? Many churches have “Trunk or Treat” events. If your church has one and you decorate your car and give out candy, also, give a tract with it.
When children come to your home, asking for a treat, give them candy but again make sure they have a tract that will tell them about Jesus.
SOS Events will have 2 events tonight, what is our main purpose? To use this opportunity to see many ask Jesus to be their Savior.
We have a few of volunteers who set up a table in their yard with the “3 Things God Can Not Do” display. They give out candy and the Gospel. God blesses the events with people accepting Jesus as their Savior.
So today, turn this night of sometimes evil things happening into something good by using it to glorify God. Please be in prayer for the events that are taking place with SOS Events tonight. Pray souls will be saved.
Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. Romans 12:21

On Saturday, Carolyn Curtis had opportunity to pray for participants in the walk for cancer patients and survivors in Tampa, Fl.
Today, if you know someone with cancer or a friend or family member who did not survive, please pray for them.
It is along hard journey. Pray that God will bring comfort and healing. Most of all pray for their salvation.
In life and death Jesus is the answer.
