Today SOS Events Ministry is going to post photos of the blessings the Lord gave over the past weekend.
Many events were held and people came to know Jesus as their Savior. These are several things we are thankful for today.
Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ; Ephesians 5:20
November is the month that in the USA we celebrate Thanksgiving. We need to be thankful everyday not just one day a year.
Especially when we are facing problems in our lives is the time we need to stop and reflect on how good God is to us. Here is a challenge for you… every day for the rest of the month thank the Lord for at least 3 things to be thankful for. Try to find new things each day. You will find your spirits lifted and your relationship to God will be closer each day.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
SOS Events Ministry had many events over the past weekend and on Halloween. God blessed these events with people trusting Jesus as their Savior.
Two events had 25 salvations each. The Fall Festival at Bethany Baptist Church in Plant City, Florida, and the Trunk or Treat at East Thonotosassa Church in Thonotosassa, Florida.
There were many more events and as the results come in to the home office of SOS Events we will post them.
Thank you to all the faithful SOS Events volunteers who work tirelessly to see people come to the Lord for salvation. It takes many volunteers to make all these salvations possible.
All the praise belongs to the Lord!

Halloween is a day that originated to ward off evil spirits with bonfires and sacrifices. Today it is a time when children trick or treat and adults party. Some people love Halloween and others hate it, but however you feel about today as Christian we can use it to witness for the Lord.
If children come to your house for trick or treat be sure to give them a tract along with the candy. SOS Events participates in many Halloween alternatives at churches and community events. Diana (our office manager) sets up a “3 Things God Can Not Do” display in her yard every Halloween and has seen many children, teens and adults come to know the Lord in the last several years. Be a witness and use this opportunity for God’s glory. Also please pray for many souls to be saved on this night the busiest in the year for SOS Events all around the USA.
Matthew 19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.
In memory of Tom Curtis, founder of SOS EVENTS Ministry. He would have been 86 today. But, he is now celebrating his birthday in Heaven.
He was a man who loved God and was a great witness for the Lord. His desire was not only to see souls saved but to get other Christians to be soul winners.
Mission accomplished in his life. SOS Events has seen over 80,000 souls saved in 20 years and hundreds of Christians trained and witnessing all over the USA and beyond. So while we miss him today we celebrate his life.
His desire was to witness to everyone he met. If you are reading this and you are no saved, you can help us honor Tom by placing your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus. That would be a great way to honor the memory of a man who loved Jesus.

How can we then do what God has ask us to do? The worldwide web is the answer.
In the last 3 days people from many of these countries have searched for spiritual answers. They have found the posts from SOS Events.
This is a great opportunity to get the gospel to people who may never have heard how they can be saved.
Please pray for these people that they find Jesus through the website.
The following verse is for them: the name is Jesus.
Who is first in your life? Your spouse, children, boyfriend or girlfriend? Maybe you put yourself first.
The Bible tells us who should be first. if you want to be successful in your relationship with others, then Jesus should be the One who is first in your life.
Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. Matthew 22:37
What a blessing. Pastor Jess Page and one of his men went to another church, about 30 miles from their church, Faith Baptist in Lake Placid, where there was a Fall Festival.
God blessed their day with 9 people trusting Jesus as their Savior.
SOS Events Ministry usually does not ask the Pastors to volunteer at events because of their busy schedules, however, when a Pastor has a heart for seeing souls saved, then go to an event it is an extra blessing.
Thankfully there are Pastors who promote SOS Events and some do work with us at events. May God give each one of these Pastors wisdom, power and salvations in their ministries.
