God answers prayer. Every year SOS has a booth in an event called James Dean Days in a small town in Indiana. This year our group from Florida are unable to go to set up and work at the event.
It has been on our hearts to get a group from that area to have an SOS soul winning booth at this exciting event.
Yesterday, one of our faithful workers, John, was on the phone telling us that his church got excited and wants to have the booth at James Dean Days.
Praise The Lord. Please pray for the workers, and that souls will be saved.

September 3, 2013While most people had a day of fun or relaxation, faithful SOS team members worked at the Webster Flea Market and God blessed their efforts. 24 people trusted Jesus as their Savior.

Flea Market Conversions
August 23, 2013Every week SOS Events has faithful workers in Flea Markets around the Country. In Florida there are 3 markets every week, with 30-50 people trusting Jesus as their Savior. Randy and Joyce are team leaders and work in several events weekly.
Texas Man Accepts The Lord
July 29, 2013What a joy to see people come to The Lord. This weekend 18 people trusted Jesus as their Savior at the Auburndale Flea Market in Florida. A young man from Texas came into the booth with his grandfather. He wanted to be sure he was on the way to Heaven. On the back of the card he wrote, “Accepted Jesus as my personal Savior.”
SOS has every convert fill out a card with name, address, phone, age, and email so we can follow up with them. A local church gets the information so they can visit. A Bible study that is age appropriate gets sent to each one free of charge. They have opportunity to continue Bible studies as long as they want to, always at no cost to them except for the price of a stamp.
SOS is always looking for dedicated Christians who would like to be a part of this exciting ministry.

July 17, 2013It has taken about 2 years to finally finish a book about salvations that have occurred mostly through SOS Events ministries. Just short testimonies of people from all walks of life who have trusted Christ. “101 Salvations from SOS” will be ready to ship by Monday, 7/22/13.

SeniorServants
May 3, 2013Yesterday SOS had a great day with our Senior Servants. This group of ladies from several different churches in the area come to the property once a month and work on projects necessary to helping SOS get out the gospel. Sometimes they’ll put tracts in baggies, or stuff envelopes for mailings. Various jobs that are important to the ministry.
We always have prayer, which is our most important need.
Lunch is the highlight of the morning with a different theme each month. May was a tea. Delicious.
If you know anyone in the Tampa Bay Area who would enjoy working in the ministry once a month call our office 813-494-7927. We have several ladies who are not yet senior citizens and our oldest senior is 94 years of age.
SOS can also use male volunteers. Lunch is always provided.
Weekends
April 20, 2013How do you spend your weekend? The teams from SOS spend Saturday and part of Sunday after church winning souls to Christ. We are praying for these teams as they labor in the marketplace every weekend.
God is pleased with Christians who spend their “free time” witnessing for Him.
More workers are needed. As summer approaches there are many events where a booth could be set up. SOS wants YOU.
Pray for Workers in the Harvest
April 16, 2013SOS Ministry would really appreciate it if you will pray for workers for the ministry. We have so many opportunities to get into flea markets especially in Florida. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Our goal for 2013 is an average of 100 souls per week. Right now we average about 50. Summer is coming and there will be events in all of the states. What an opportunity to Serve Our Savior!
Grandchildren are a blessing
April 2, 2013Today we reflect on our grandchildren who are serving The Lord as they reach maturity. In the Curtis family ther are 40 grandchildren from the smallest ( one on the way) to mature adults with children of their own.The teens are a special blessing as all of them are following The Lord in music and ministry.
Yesterday we had a wonderful report from the Webster, Fl flea market where 2 different sets of grandparents brought their grandchildren to the SOS booth to be saved. The results were great. In both cases the teens were saved and the grandparents rejoiced. Proverbs 17:6 Children’s children are the crown of old men…..
Angels Rejoice
March 16, 2013The angels in heaven are rejoicing daily as they see people coming to Christ . The Holy Spirit continues to fill teams with love, joy and peace as they give the gospel in the marketplace, fervently serving CHRIST.
We at SOS Events are committed to the Lord’s desire of spreading the gospel across America. God has been pleased to grow EVENT EVANGELISM to where it is reaching out to over 26 states, one by one, state by state, spreading God’s Word — THANK YOU LORD !!!
The Holy Spirit continues to bring us people who are committed, teachable, and filled with the Holy Spirit, all with the singular aim of evangelistically serving the LORD and bringing others into God’s Kingdom. Revival is our aim as GOD finds open hearts at all kinds of family and corporate activities, across the nation, through SOS EVENTS. The Lord has given SOS the desire, along with the wisdom, knowledge, and understanding as to how we can effectively reach the Lost.
We have developed a unique way to reach out to those speak to those who are willing to hear the Gospel and respond by the Holy Spirit.
