Sometimes, as Christians, we need a special blessing from the Lord when we feel overwhelmed by circumstances that are beyond our control.
God is there for us, knowing our needs and blessing us with comfort only He can give.
Today, if you are struggling with a problem, spiritually, physically, or financially, God and his mercy and grace will give you the answer if we look totally toward him.
Take a minute or two to just reflect on how good he is and how good he has been to you and then thank him for all the blessings in your life.
Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. Psalm 27:1
The day was beautiful. I was going to a meeting with my daughter, parked my car in her yard where it has been parked many times.
When we came back the car was under a huge tree that had fallen from the neighbors yard. What a shock!
The question is, How do we react when unexpected things happen? Do we get angry, or try to place blame?
I have learned through many trials that GOD is in control and everything will be fine. My heart is full of Praise today as I think of all the things He has done for me.
Paul tells us in the book of Philippians that he went through many trials and afflictions, and whatever happened to him good or bad he can trust Jesus to give him strength.
That is true today. If we trust Jesus, He will give us strength to do whatever He wants us to do.
How do you start your day? Get up, grab breakfast in a hurry and rush out the door. You are stressed and feel frazzled.
The better plan for a good day is to start your day with Bible reading and prayer. No time you think. Get up earlier before everyone starts to need you. It is worth the effort.
Quiet time with the LORD is essential. Your day will go much better.
We never know what a day will bring. Sometimes we we have plans and they get changed. Sometimes we have no plans and then something comes up that we did not expect. The key is be flexible.
Always be ready to change your plans if necessary. God has a plan for our lives and he wants to use us. If we are not willing to follow Him immediately, we can miss out on a great blessing.
Carolyn Curtis, cofounder of SOS Events Ministry, had the opportunity to speak to a wonderful group of women at Orange Park Baptist Church on Saturday.
It is always a blessing to share her story with others. Giving opportunity for them to accept Jesus as their Savior, and Christians to serve the LORD.
In this photo she reminds the audience that time is short. We must use the time wisely and use every opportunity to tell others about Jesus.
See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Ephesians 5:15 & 16
