There is a beautiful song…Turn your eyes upon Jesus, look full into His wonderful face and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.
In these troubled times, we need to look to Jesus.
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2
Today many of us will go to church to worship God our Savior, Jesus. Some people cannot go to church for various reasons but worship Him in their hearts.
Others choose not to worship God at all but follow after pleasure and things that are unimportant.
Someday, the Bible tells us that every knee will bow to Jesus. Which do you choose? Worship Him today or be forced to bow your knee to Him at the judgement seat?
Jesus is a wonderful Savior! He warns us against things that Satan will use to harm us or cause us to question God.
Satan wants to steal our purpose, vision, joy, and family through doubt and discouragement. One thing Satan cannot steal from a Christian is salvation.
When you trust Christ as your Savior, believe He died on the cross for your sins and repent, you are accepting the gift of Salvation which is your eternal security.
Planning is something most people do to make sure they stay on task.
God has plans for each of us too. In the Scriptures, Jeremiah speaks of thoughts the Lord has for us, plans of peace and prosperity.
But did you realize that Satan has plans for you as well? Satan is after your name and reputation. When you wake up every morning, he has already plotted how to come against you that day.
You have a choice. Whose plan are you going to follow? Call on the Lord for help and guidance in every day.
God promises in His Word that when we don’t know how to pray, we have the Holy Spirit who will pray for us.
What a great blessing. He knows us better than we know ourselves and He prays for us according to God’s will.
There are times when we don’t know what to pray. Illness, tragedy, decisions about our future and many other things. We want to be in God’s will. Rest in the promise that the Spirit is praying for us.
