Today, please pray for Tom Curtis, founder of SOS Events, as he will be getting a new pacemaker. He has been waiting for a long time and finally conditions are right. Pray for a speedy recovery. Tom’s desire is to be able to resume going to events to witness and win souls for JESUS.

Happy Fathers Day to all the Fathers today. Fatherhood is a great blessing but also a great responsibility. May you call upon the Heavenly Father to guide you as you rear your children.
The greatest thing you can do for your children is lead them into the knowledge and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

SOS Events is privileged to have some wonderful volunteers that work faithfully. Richard is one of these workers who volunteer and is a faithful witness for the Lord. He is at the Plant City Flea Market on Wednesdays and works other events when he is needed.

Sometimes we get so busy or swamped with the cares of this life that we forget to laugh. Take time today to laugh and don’t forget to smile at someone. It could make them have a better day.

Alice, Randy and William usually work the Plant City Flea Market on Wednesday but recently both Randy Thomas and William were out of town. Pastor Romero from his Spanish church in Lakeland sent four of his people over to help at the SOS Events booth. Thank you all for your willingness to witness and the LORD blessed with 14 souls making decisions to follow Christ.
1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
Seventeen people were trained to be soul winners with SOS Events Ministry in Alabama this week. Seventeen more CHRISTIANS who are willing to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ.
The team in Alabama are doing a wonderful job recruiting new team members and it all started when one of the couples from Florida went to Alabama about 2 years ago to train a group of people the “3 Things God Can Not Do” . That small group of people got excited about the simplicity and non confrontational way to witness. From that training came the Alabama SOS team. Today that group has spread to several cities in that state and hundreds of people are receiving JESUS as their Savior every year.
One small group of people who got on fire for the Lord and the growth is amazing. Little is much when God is in it.
Job 8:7 Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase.
One of the hymns that honor the Lord and His Saving power is “Amazing Grace”. SOS Events ministry teaches people how to witness and become soul winners. Materials are provided to help Chistians win people to Christ. We can be trained, know the scriptures, have everything just right but without God’s grace all that we do will not work. We must remember it is the Holy Spirit that does the saving. We are just His messengers who bring hope to the unsaved.
2 Thessalonians 2:16 Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
Sometimes our minds get thinking about things that bring temptation and problems into our lives. The Bible tells us what to think about in Philippians. When our minds start to wander into places we should not go spiritually, think on these things.
This is a good verse to memorize.
Adrian Rogers, who is now with the Lord. was a great preacher. He told things like it is and his sermons are still up to date as if he was preaching this morning. You can hear some of his sermons on U tube.
He was speaking on the rapture of the church and this was his quote, “Get right or get left.”
JESUS is coming to take those of us who are born again out of this world. It could be today. Are you ready? You do not want to be left behind. To get right and be born again is so simple. Go to SOS home page Scroll down to the “3 Things God Can Not Do” and then go down to the A,B,C’s of salvation. Just follow all the steps, pray and ask JESUS to forgive your sins, come into your heart and make you a new person in Christ.
Don’t wait. JESUS could come today.
