As we celebrated Independence Day in Plant City, Florida, we were reminded that while we are thankful for the freedoms we enjoy as Americans, there is an even greater freedom found in the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Fourth of July was a wonderful day for SOS Events as our volunteers had the privilege of sharing the Gospel with many people. We rejoice that 31 individuals made decisions to follow the Lord. What a blessing to see hearts opened to God’s truth on a day when our nation celebrates freedom!
We thank God for every volunteer who faithfully served, every conversation that was shared, and every person who stopped to listen. Please pray that these 31 individuals will continue to grow in their faith, become grounded in God’s Word, and find a Bible-believing church where they can mature in their walk with Christ.
As we celebrate America’s freedom, let us never forget the greatest freedom of all—the freedom from sin that Jesus Christ purchased for us through His death, burial, and resurrection.
May God continue to bless America as we seek to honor Him, and may we never grow weary of sharing the Good News with those who need the hope of Christ.
