Today we at SOS Events would like to honor our police officers who work everyday to keep us safe. Pray for your local and state police officers. We are thankful for them. They put their lives on the line for us and deserve our prayers and respect.
Ephesians 1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
What do I want for Mother’s Day? I want you. I want you to keep coming around, I want you to bring your kids around, I want you to ask me questions, ask my advice, tell me your problems, ask for my opinion, ask for my help. I want you to come over and rant about your problems, rant about life, whatever. Tell me about your job, your worries, your kids, your fur babies. I want you to continue sharing your life with me. Come over and laugh with me, or laugh at me, I don’t care. Hearing you laugh is music to me.
I spent the better part of my life raising you the best way I knew how. Now, give me time to sit back and admire my work. Raid my refrigerator, help yourself, I really don’t mind. In fact, I wouldn’t want it any other way. I want you to spend your money making a better life for you and your family, I have the things I need. I want to see you happy and healthy. Carolyn Curtis is blessed to celebrate her daughter, Judy’s retirement. They are spending a few days at Panama City Beach in Florida enjoying the beautiful weather, good food and fellowship. Even Jesus got away to rest for awhile, but there is nowhere in the Bible that talks about retirement from God’s work. In fact, Christians who are blessed with good health and do not have to go to a secular job should spend more tim working for the Lord. What a wonderful day at Talladega yesterday. Nine new SOS Events workers came to their very first event and God opened the windows of Heaven with blessings. Over 50 people trusted Jesus as their Savior. Not only are the angels in Heaven rejoicing but all the workers are excited and are now ready to do more events with SOS Events.
Luke 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
Two young men, Jake and Austin, stopped by the SOS Events booth at the NASCAR races yesterday to thank us for leading them to the Lord last year. They were so happy to see that we were in the same place where they got saved. It is a special blessing to have people come back to tell us that they are still following the Lord from prior years. In spite of the rain and cold weather The Lord answered prayer and gave us five people who accepted Christ as their Savior.
John 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
First day at the NASCAR races in Talladega, Alabama. Pray that many race car fans will come to one of the SOS Events booths to be saved during this 3 day event. We Praise the Lord for this great opportunity and thank the Alabama team who have won many people in the past.

For several years now we have been working all over the Plant City Farmers Market on Wednesdays – Some spots good and others, not so good. However, today the Lord blessed us with a permanent spot under shade trees ! (Just in time for summer!) This also means we do not have to get up so early and get in line. (Another blessing!) – To top this day off God drew seven to Him today! — Praise His Holy Name!Randy Thomas

A young man who just trusted Jesus as his Savior in the SOS Events booth told the soul winner that he had no family. What a blessing to be able to tell him, “You have a family now, when you asked Jesus to be your Savior you were born again into God’s family and you have brothers and sisters in Christ.” Pray for this man that he will be welcomed into a local church.
Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
