Alabama SOS is teaching a new group today the simple plan of salvation using the “3 ThingsGod Can Not Do”.
Join us in prayer and praise as we have the great honor and privilege of providing SOS volunteer training to the Bible study students of Dexter Avenue King Memorial Baptist Church today, Wednesday, August 24 at 12 noon and again at 6pm. Praise the Lord!!

Patty Mills (on the far left) pictured here with the original Alabama SOS Events team, reported that the now expanded Alabama team has over 30 events between now and November. Wonderful opportunities to win souls to Christ in Alabama. Please keep all of the events in your prayers. SOS Events busiest season is in the Fall all over the Eastern USA.

Witnessing is not a calling or a gift, it is a command. People around us are dying without Christ and we have excuses why we do not witness and win souls. We must not let an opportunity to witness pass without telling them about Jesus. Their eternal lives depend upon it.
Acts 10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

A New team for SOS Events in Tennessee. Charles, Bill, Pat and Jim did a great job at Family Fun Day in Spring Hill, TN yesterday. 24 salvations were recorded and others were witnessed to including a man who was a Buddhist.
Everyone in the team were excited and looking forward to more events in the future. Praise the Lord for people who want to Serve Our Savior with SOS Events.

SOS Events main goal is winning people to the Lord and we always rejoice when souls get saved at events. There is another blessing that causes excitment and joy. When Christians who have never won anyone to the Lord or have not had witnessing as a priority in their lives come to SOS Events to be trained and go to an event, they see how God blesses their effort and people get saved.
There is an old quotation: “Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime.”
That is so true when soul winning. As individuals each team member can witness but when we teach others to be witnesses the training lasts them for a lifetime and more people will have the opportunity to be saved.
Mark 1:17 And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

Praise the Lord for the 22 people who made decisions for Christ at the Back to School event in Dade City, Florida on Saturday. Families attended this event together. This event is to benefit children, however, parents are with them and it is a great opportunity for SOS Events to present the gospel to people of all ages.

Days are like suitcases…all the same size…but some people are able to pack more into them than others.
Are your days filled with empty hours or are you so busy you don’t have time to do the important things, like witnessing to that person you meet, praying or spending quality time with your family? We each have 24 hours in every day. Let us spend that time wisely, doing something that will count for eternity.
Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

SOS EVENTS has some dedicated workers who go out to win souls no matter what the weather. In Florida this season of year the temperature rises to between 85 and 95 degrees and it feels much hotter as the day progresses. However, every Wednesday there are faithful workers who go to the Flea Market in Plant City to win souls. In the last 2 weeks 18 people have trusted Jesus as their Savior. That is dedication. These workers are very much appreciated and deserve a giant THANK YOU.
2 Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
