There are hundreds of verses in the Bible on the word “love”. It is a wonderful word study.
There are 4 types of love in the Bible.
Phillia Love – A love that is affectionate but not romantic. This love is usually shared between family and friends.
Eros love – A love that is romantic between a man and woman.
Philautia Love – Is a love and respect we should have for ourselves and the Holy Spirit indwelling within us.
Mania Love – This is a love in which we are obsessed. This love leads to false idols and putting things on a pedestal higher than God
Today we have looked at some interesting facts, however, we can know all about the word LOVE but until we experience God’s love all our knowledge means nothing.
The love of GOD for us is found in the familiar verse, John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Do you stop and really thank Jesus for His death on the cross. He died not because He had to, but because He loves us so much He chose to go to the cross.
The Bible says without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness for our sin. Jesus shed His own blood for you and me. What great love.
❤️ 💕 💗 February is here and we turn our thoughts to love. Hearts, flowers and romance is the theme for February in the world.
This month the main subject for February for us will be about God’s Love for us and the heart.
The greatest love story of all time and eternity is God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, to come into the world as a baby, grow up in the world as a man, die on the cross and 3 days later He arose!
Why? The answer is for you and me. God loves us so much He wants us to have eternal life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
John 1:14 – And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Mistletoe symbolizes the love we are able to offer to others only because of Christ who “first loves us.”
This year, tell family and friends about the true meaning of mistletoe. Be sure to let them know that the corresponding kiss is a symbol of peace, romance and the love of a Heavenly Father who sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross, was buried and rose again on the third day, as the payment for all our sins.
God’s love for us is the true meaning of Christmas.
