God loves us so much that even when we are not looking for Him, He draws us to Him.

This time of year seems to have a lot of celebrations that focus on love. Weddings, engagements and anniversaries.
It is wonderful to see couples who love one another. Maybe you are one of the people who do not have that special someone in your life who loves you. You have been hurt, your spouse has died or deserted you.
The good news is you DO have someone who loves you and will never leave you. That person is Jesus. He loves you so much He died for you and He will never leave you or forsake you. If you have not accepted Him as your Savior, do it today.
1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Next week is Valentine’s Day. We think of it as a day to show love to the person or persons we love. We send cards, candy, flowers or a gift to that loved one. Nothing wrong with expressing love to people we love. In fact we should show our love 365 days a year to everyone we hold dear.
The greatest love we can experience in life is to accept the love that God showed to us when He sent His Son, JESUS, to die on the cross and pay the price for our sins.
The next few days the focus will be on LOVE. The Bible has much to say about this subject.

Psalms 70:4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

What a wonderful way to welcome February, with a prayer. This photo is not original with me but is so perfect, I had to share.
It is a reminder of God’s watchful care through every month. February is the month we celebrate love. The greatest love ever shown was God’s love for us when He sent His Son, Jesus to come to earth.
Jesus came to be born as a baby, grew up as a man, suffered and died on the cross, 3 days later He arose and is now in Heaven. He did that willingly, so that we may have all our sins forgiven.
John3:16. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Psalms 70:4 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.

For many of us here in the ISA today is the day that the Holidays are officially over. It’s back to work, back to school and our routine of daily life is back to normal.
How are you doing? Feeling let down, depressed or are you rejoicing that you are back on track? We have various emotions as we settle into our regular routine. Whatever you may face today there is a constant that never changes. That is the love and mercy of God.
Keep in mind that He goes with you throughout the day, wherever you go or whatever you have to do. Jesus loves you and will help you In whatever circumstance you find yourself today.
So rejoice in the day. This is the day that the Lord has made.

Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

Christmas Eve is here. You may be busy with getting ready for Christmas, wrapping presents or celebrating with family or friends.
Tonight is a time we can stop and take time to thank God for sending His Son, Jesus into the world on that first Christmas Eve.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
