Family

November 24, 2015

Usually on a holiday like Thanksgiving families get together to eat and have fellowship. Some families are very small and some families are huge with many relatives.

Families are a blessing. They are not perfect but the imperfections make each one unique. At this time of year thank God for your family. If they are live close to you you are especially blessed. If they are far away take time to pray for them today. Maybe they have passed on to Heaven and you can still be thankful for the time you had with them.

If you have unsaved relatives pray for them and do not give up. I know a daughter who prayed for her parents for over 30 years and both parents were saved just weeks before they died. God is faithful and always good.

1 Corinthians 1:9  God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Dependability

October 1, 2015

“The greatest ability is dependability.” Dr. Bob Jones

Sometimes being dependable is not easy. Weekly Flea Markets are a good example. Wake up really early to go and set up the display, weather can be a problem,(heat, cold, damp, humidity), waiting for that first person to talk to you. Maybe even rejection, 52 weeks a year. Sounds hard? It is until God steps in and brings the first person that has been waiting to hear the Gospel. Yesterday 12 souls came to the Lord at the Plant City Flea Market.

That is the reason dependability is so important. Alice, Randy, William are dependable and gladly go each week to that event. God will honor their dependability. He is the One who brings the souls, it is our responsibility to be faithful and dependable.

Jesus said in Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Things were a little slower at the flea markets this week. In Florida the children are back in school so attendance of teens and kids are not present at the Wednesday Market but God blessed with Seventeen decisions. He blesses SOS Events faithful workers.

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Nancy

Nancy is one of SOS Events faithful Senior Servants. She is a diligent worker, dedicated Christian, children’s Sunday school teacher and works tirelessly when she comes once a month to help SOS. She is an encourager. She not only comes herself but picks up others so they may come and help also. When there is a lot of work to do she is always willing to stay longer than expected until the job is done.Nancy is also a great witness. She loves to use the ” three things God cannot do” to witness to others.

When Nancy meets the Savior, He will say, well done thou good and faithful servant.

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
