Happy Valentines Day. If you have a spouse show special love today. If your love has gone on to Heaven then give thanks for the special relationship God allowed you to have. If you feel lonely today remember the greatest love you have is the Lord Jesus. He loves you with an everlasting love that will never end.
1 John 4:16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

Yesterday I had the privilege of attending my daughter, Graceanne’s, Sunday School class that she teaches. What a blessing to see and hear one of our children, as an adult following the Lord. Graceanne spoke about the Bible and how to study and grow closer to the Lord through daily reading and meditating on the Bible.
Training children is not an easy task. It requires wisdom, consistency, prayer and patience. In our family daily devotions together was required from the time they were born. Regular church attendance and a good Christian school were all part of successful child rearing. A home where parents were united in love, discipline and good times were also part of our home when the children were growing up. Also, the willingness to admit when we are wrong goes a long way to build trust in your children.
If you are a young parent do not be discouraged. Look at your children not as they are but what they will become when the Lord directs them in the future.

Work on SOS Events property continues. We are thankful for all the hard work these 5 men from Bible Baptist Church, Appomattox, VA are doing. The offices of SOS Events are just 2 job trailers and all the planning and administration happens from the space the Lord has provided.
As you can see the money donated does not go for fancy buildings and expensive facilities, but all goes to the goal of seeing souls come to Jesus. We do need to take care of what we have however, and the sacrifice of these men from VA are a blessing. Please pray for them. 2 of them have had news of serious illness in a family member since they have been here, but they continue to work on.
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
SOS Events is blessed to have some wonderful people who are trainers and missionaries with the ministry. Yesterday a group from Florida and Alabama (via a conference call) met to discuss and plan how to update the way we train people to be soul winners. It is wonderful to be able to work together to improve and see the ministry grow. In 15 years since SOS Events was founded, the ministry has grown from 2 people, Tom and Carolyn Curtis, to over 50 trainers and hundreds of workers in the USA and beyond. That has resulted in over 50,000 people who have been saved and on their way to Heaven.
The future is even brighter, thanks to the dedicated trainers who are willing to meet and make suggestions how to improve SOS Events and have even more souls saved in the next 15 years should the Lord tarry. Please pray for the leaders, missionaries and trainers that we will trust in the Lord and depend on the Holy Spirit to lead and guide us to even greater blessings in the years to come; for without Him we can do nothing.
John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
Personal soul winning is a great blessing. The staff of SOS Events not only work at events but when someone comes into the office they usually do not leave without hearing the gospel. This week 2 people came by to do community service. The ministry needs workers and this is a good way to help someone who has been in trouble or maybe a student that is required to work doing community service before the graduate. Diana talked to the young woman who was happy to accept the Lord when she heard the ABC’s of salvation. Then a day later, a man who started to work, talked to Carolyn and he also accepted the Lord. God sends the right people to us who have a desire to be saved and their ability to work is an answer to prayer.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
SOS Events is blessed to have a new Hispanic worker at the Plant City Flea Market on Wednesdays. This past week Elsa worked with Alice and Randy and seven decisions were recorded. This Flea Market is attended by many Spanish speaking people and God now has provided 2 workers, Elsa and William, who can speak the language. Praise the Lord for these 2 soul winners and for the people who have been saved.
1 Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building.
This is a photo of Diana’s front lawn at her home on Halloween. She set up for Trick or Treat and she had 25 decisions for Christ before the evening was done. 10 adults were saved who came with their children, 13 children were saved and 2 children received assurance of their salvation. It is amazing what God will do with one person who is willing to step out of their comfort zone and witness for the Lord. One night and the results were more than most churches do in a year.

Monday in Appomattox Virginia at Bible Baptist church was a great success. Beka, did a great job training two men from West Virginia, while Carolyn spoke to a group of ladies at 10 AM.
In the evening, a group of about 40 ladies came to hear Carolyn speak on “Making a Difference.”Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
