Victory at Strawberry Festival

The little girl in this photo interpreted from Spanish to English so that her Mom and Dad could understand and be saved. She and her whole family accepted Christ. Mom and little brother were too shy to get in the photo but Dad was happy to stand with his young daughter to have their picture taken. This family of four will now spend eternity in Heaven.
There are so many stories of salvation to tell from Strawberry Festival 2015.
Eleven days. Early on rain and cold, then sickness and cancellation of some volunteers. But God had the victory and a total of 235 decisions were recorded. All of these converts will receive a Bible study and will have their names given to local churches in the area for follow up.
Praise the Lord for another year that SOS Events had the privilege of Serving Our Savior at Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Fl.

SOS, Serving Our Savior

Many people ask what the meaning of SOS is, Serving Our Savior is what the letters stand for, but more importantly it is what the team members feel in their hearts.
The faithful servants who work with SOS have a sincere desire to see souls saved. Everyone from the office workers, maintenance men, volunteers, booth workers, and missionaries love the Lord with all their hearts and work tirelessly to see people get saved.

Strawberry Festival

Today some of the staff from SOS will go to Plant City, FL to decorate the SOS booth for this years Strawberry Festival. SOS Events has been winning souls at this event for the last 13 years.
YOU can have an active part in this event by praying. Pray that
God will bring people to the booth that are ready to be saved. Pray for the workers to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Pray for good weather. Pray that there will be enough workers. This event is eleven days, twelve hours everyday and workers need replacements.
The event starts February 26-March 8. Please pray daily for this event. The following are actual testimonies from people who were saved at Strawberry Festival in years past. Every year there are between 250 to 600 decisions at this one event.

Matthew 14, Plant City, FL, Jesus gave me insurance that when I die I will go to Heaven.

Lexus 12, Holiday, FL, I was born again and got a spiritual birthday.

Faithful Servants

This is a photo of a few of SOS Senior Servants. They meet usually on the first Thursday of every month. Yesterday, the majority consented to meet next week instead to allow Carolyn to go with her husband as he spoke to another group of Senior Citizens in Lakeland.
The meeting went well. A great thanks to SOS Senior Servants for their faithfulness and love for SOS Events ministry.
God expects us to be busy for Him even after reaching “retirement” age and these ladies have been faithful to His Word.

New Decorations, New Life

Teen girls hear the “3 Things God Can Not Do” at the newly redecorated Big Top Flea Market booth. On Saturday there were 5 salvations.
God is faithful to bring people to the booth. The Bible tells us that He will draw them.

John 12:32
And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

World Mission

SOS Events was founded in 2001 with the intention of winning souls in the USA. Only 2 people were with the ministry then and now in 2015 there are over 500 trained soul winners who go to events each year. Over 50,000 people have made decisions for Christ in the USA. All the glory goes to The Lord Jesus.
The thing that is most amazing is the outreach SOS has had on the entire world through this blog everyday. Thousands of people from over 80 countries have visited this site just in the last year.
God took the little plan of two ordinary people and turned their vision into a worldwide mission.

Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

SOS Events in Florida now has a new way to sign up to witness and win souls at an event. SignUpGenius.com is a website that has the schedule for the Big Top Flea Market and also upcoming Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Fl.
Go to that website and follow directions for “Find a Sign Up” at the top of the page then enter the email address: info@sosevents.org. Continue all pages and click the final sign up button.
Before you can participate in an event you must have been through training.

Plant City Flea Market

January 15, 2015

Every Wednesday, weather permitting, SOS Events has a booth at the Plant City Flea Market in Florida.
This week eight people were saved. The SOS staff that works at this event are faithful and the Lord rewards their faithfulness with people who come to the Lord each week.
The blessings are twofold, the new converts have the burden of sin lifted, and the soul winners have the joy of seeing people saved.
SOS Event Ministry uses the opportunity to go to the marketplaces to win souls as the Bible tells us to go to the highways and compel them to come in.

Luke 14:23
And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

3 THINGS GOD CANNOT DO

SOS Events attracts people to our booth at an event with displays that have the words, “3 THINGS GOD CANNOT DO”. The bible verses are covered so the answers can not be seen. The the door is lifted and the scripture is revealed.
The unsaved person is then invited to be born again and the gospel is explained to them by a soul winner.
The photo shows you what display, without the doors, SOS used at the Home, Garden and Boat Show this past weekend. Fourteen people were saved at that event.

SOS Workers

Suzie, Diana, Carolyn and Tom at the Home, Garden and Boat Show in Tampa, Florida. They are just a few of the workers that make an event successful for the Lord. Today is the last day for the show and we ask for prayer, that many will come to know JESUS.
