These words were spoken by Jesus to His disciples. The disciples were troubled but Jesus gave them these words to comfort and give them hope for the future.
This promise is still true today. Take comfort in the words of Jesus. He is preparing a place for us. He is coming again. We will be with a Him, if we have trusted Him as our Savior. Jesus the same, yesterday, today and forever.
There is a poster that hung in my office several years ago. It had a picture of a kitten hanging on a branch of a tree and the words were, ” Hang in there”
Today things sometimes look bleak and we get discouraged but the good news is that Jesus is with us in times of discouragement and He is coming soon. What a joy to know that we shall see Him face to face, if we know Him as our Savior.
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
After the wise men’s visit, Joseph was warned in a dream to take Jesus and Mary and flee to Egypt. Herod was seeking to kill Jesus and not getting a report back from the wise men he had all the young children in Bethlehem killed. But Jesus was safe and the little family stayed in Egypt until Herod was dead.
Then once again Joseph had a dream and returned but went to live in Nazareth where Jesus grew from childhood until He started His earthly ministry.
God’s Word is true. Every prophesy concerning Jesus birth was fulfilled down to the last detail. Many people leave Jesus in the manger as a baby but do not believe future events also predicted in the Bible. Jesus is the Messiah, He did die on the cross and He is coming again to rule and reign over all the world. Are you ready for a great future with Jesus the coming King?
Matthew 2:13-15 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him. When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.
This picture was taken over Jerusalem on January 16, 2019! Someday, maybe soon, Jesus will come in the clouds. Are you ready to meet Him?
Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? I Thessalonians 2:19
You can be 100% sure you are going to heaven.
1) Admit you have sinned. Romans 3:23
2) Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9
3) Call upon the Lord. Romans 10:13
Pray: Lord Jesus, I admit I am a sinner, I believe you died on the cross for forgiveness of my sins. I ask that you forgive my sins, come into my heart and make my life new. I receive you as my Savior. Thank you, Jesus. Amen

May through June is the time of year for graduations. Small children graduate from kindergarten, looking forward to growing up and learning new things. High school students graduate looking forward to college or career. College graduates look forward to adult life and future success. It is a time for celebration. We as Christians, no matter what our age look forward to even a greater graduation. The time when we go to Heaven. If it be through death or Jesus comes and we are caught up in the rapture. We can all look forward to our “graduation day”.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Are you looking for Jesus? We get so busy with the cares of this life that we sometimes do not remember that Jesus is coming back, and it could be soon. The Bible tells us that we do not know the day or the hour but when we least expect it He will come. We will be caught up to meet Him in the air, if we have trusted Him as Lord and Savior. Are you ready and watching?
