Do you take time with God everyday? The best time is first thing in the morning to start your day with Him.
It may be difficult for you to do. Busy getting ready for work, school or children needing attention.
Try getting up earlier before anyone else is awake. If that doesn’t work for you, set aside a different time for fellowship with God. Maybe on your lunch break, or when the kids are napping.
Not convenient? After dinner in the evening is good.
Whatever time you find is best for you, the important thing is that you take time everyday. Jesus desires time with you and you need Him.
Make it a habit. Do not let anything distract you from your time of prayer and worship. You will be blessed.
Wednesday, the middle of the week. Do you get tired of your job? The same routine. Maybe you are a young parent. Children are restless and you are tired of the responsibility and trying to keep them contented and happy.
Even Pastors, Teachers and people in ministry get tired and discouraged. Sometimes it feels like all this work is in vain.
The Bible has a verse for you. Do NOT be weary in well doing. You will reap if you don’t quit.
That job. You are a diligent worker. Your boss is watching and you get a promotion or a raise.
The children, they grow up to be successful and thankful for parents who encouraged them.
Christian worker, you will reap. People get saved, broken relationships are mended, prayers are answered. Best of all Jesus will say, “Well done.”
Today, do what you are doing with anticipation and dedication. You will reap if you faint not.
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25
Now that all the festivities of Christmas and New Years are over it is time to get back to a regular routine.
The best way to start that routine every week is to be in church.
Many people for whatever reason have stopped going to church. They may watch it online or TV but to actually go seems to hard or to difficult.
Why is it important to go? God tells us to go in His Word. We need the spiritual strength of one another. In time of trouble we have no one to turn to if we do not have a Pastor that cares about us.
In one of the worst times in my life, this verse and song got me through that difficult time.
I made a decision to find something to rejoice about, even if it was as small as being able to get out of bed and brush my hair or seeing a butterfly land on a flower.
God gave me things to be thankful for and He brought joy back into my life, one day at a time.
Today, as I look out my window and watch the sun rise, I rejoice in the day the Lord has made.
Be not dismayed whate’er betide God will take care of you Beneath His wings of love abide God will take care of you
God will take care of you Through every day, o’er all the way He will take care of you God will take care of you
No matter what may be the test God will take care of you Lean, weary one, upon His breast God will take care of you
God will take care of you Through every day, o’er all the way He will take care of you God will take care of you
He will take care of you God will take care of you
This is an old hymn that’s words are true. God does take care of his children and he will take care of you if you have accepted Jesus as your savior.
This is a wonderful Bible verse for all who are in the work of the LORD!
Sometimes you may get tired. Things don’t seem to make a difference. God tells us in His Word, do not be weary, keep going. What you do for the LORD is not useless.
God has given us a job to do. It may be what seems to be small or He may have given you a tremendous responsibility. Whatever it is it is important. Whatever you do, do it to honor God.
Think about all the wonderful things God has done for you.
When things are not going like we want, we tend to complain and get discouraged. That is the time to stop and remember how good God has been to you in the past. He promises to be with you and bring you through the rough times.
Keep serving the LORD and trust Him with the good things He is going to do for you.
The first Monday of the year. Now the Holidays are really over and reality sets in.
Perhaps you will be going work or school. Moms are getting children ready to get out the door. Spouses are leaving for their busy day.
Maybe a a retired person you are not looking forward to another week of loneliness and boredom.
Whatever your life is like this Monday, there is one thing that will get you through any situation. That is found in the Bible verse. Seek the LORD for His strength. Jesus is with you and will help you through every day in 2025 if you will look to Him for guidance.
