There is no place like home. When away from home, even if there are blessings in seeing family and friends, we long to be home. Our hearts beat a little faster, and the excitement builds as we come nearer to our destination.
As we drive into the yard we are so happy. Home!
Then we realize that this is temporary. Our permanent home is waiting. Our hearts beat a little faster and the excitement builds as we come closer to that Heavenly Home.
What a day that will be when we fly into our HOME!
Are we ready? Trusting Jesus as our Savior is the ticket.
Do you have yours?

July 23, 2013To Obey God
July 14, 2013To obey God is always the right thing to do, but not the easiest thing to do.
Stop, Look, and Listen
July 11, 2013Genesis 1:24-25
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind:and it was so.And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind:and God saw that it was good.
God gives so many blessings. Just to look at His creation is awesome. Early in the morning His creatures are out, and today, in the yard was a beautiful red fox, a tiny humming bird, and many more of His lovely creatures were welcoming the day.
Sometimes we get to busy in the routine of daily living that we miss what God has given us to enjoy.
Why not stop, even for a minute today and look around to see some of the beauty God has created?
Is your light shinning?
July 9, 2013Jesus said:
John 12:46
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
As Christians it is our responsibility to bring the light of Christ to the lost. Is your light shinning?
Song for today, “This Little Light of Mine.”
Where is God in your life?
July 7, 2013Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
God says in His Word that everything shall be added onto you. Food, clothing, shelter.
God wants all of our hearts, not just a token. He wants more than our church attendance. He wants us to put Him first above all else. Where is God in your life?
Time to Tell Others
July 5, 20132 Corinthians 6:2
(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee:behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)
Every day is a day when someone can hear the Gospel. Let it be you that speaks for God.
SOS can teach you how to accomplish being a bold witness for our Lord.
Freedom
June 30, 2013Freedom is never free, it comes with a price.
Today, think of our freedom in America. Brave men and women died so we can have freedom of worship, freedom of speech, freedom to do what we want to do in life, freedom to choose.
True freedom is through Jesus Christ who died so we can have peace, joy and eternal life in Heaven. All we have to do is choose to accept Him as our Savior, then follow Him.
This week as we approach the 4th of July, take a little time out to pray for our service men and women who are serving in the Armed forces, also, the wounded warriors and families.
Then thank The Lord we live in a country where we still have our freedom.
Obedience
June 19, 2013Obedience is what He says, when he says, for whatever reason He says, and where He says.
Partial obedience is disobedience. God sometimes speaks in a still small voice.
Are you an obedient Christian?
How to live a Godly life
June 12, 2013You can not live a Godly life without the Word of God. Read The Word daily for a Christ centered life.
Psalms 119:11
Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee.
Life is Short
June 4, 2013My husband brought me a beautiful magnolia tree for my birthday. The blooms are beautiful and so lovely to see, but it saddens me that the next morning they are all brown and wilted. It reminds me that our life is short and we need to see the beauty God has given us while we have opportunity. Take time to witness for The Lord, take time to enjoy family and friends. Look around at God’s creation and Praise Him for all he has given us.
James 4:14
14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
