Forgiveness!

May 30, 2024

Do you have someone you will not forgive?

Forgiveness is a choice. We can harbor that hurt and not forgive or you can choose to forgive and try to mend that broken relationship.

If restoration is not possible, then forgive that person in your heart. Pray for those who despite fully use use you, the Bible tells us. It is hard to hold onto not forgiving when you genuinely pray for that person.

Decide today and start to pray for that one who has hurt you. You will have a freedom you cannot imagine until you do.

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Matthew‬ ‭18:21-22‬ ‭

Forgive! Forgiveness is a choice. Forgive someone who has hurt you. It may be your parents, sibling, friend or enemy.

Forgiveness will free you. Jesus said 70 times 7. Seven, God’s perfect number. How can we forgive? Ask Jesus to help you. Not only to forgive but to forget and move on.

Betsie died there and because of a clerical error Corrie was released just before the women in that prison were sent to the gas chambers. Did Corrie harbor hatred for her enemies. No! She found the answer to peace in the Bible. Love and Forgiveness. “Forgiveness is the key that unlocks the door of resentment and the handcuffs of hatred. It is a power that breaks the chains of bitterness and the shackles of selfishness.” Corrie Ten Boom

Matthew 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
