Yesterday, our granddaughter, Carol was married. It was a beautiful wedding. Our prayer for her and her new husband, Joe, is that they have a long and happy life together.
Once again, we were reminded of Jesus love for us as He gave His life for His bride, the born again Christians.
Someday, maybe soon, we will be at the most beautiful wedding anyone ever witnessed. When Jesus presents His bride at the marriage supper of The Lamb.
Revelation 19:7-9
Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him:for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white:for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

July 26, 2014One Step to Help You Grow in Faith
July 25, 2014Read your Bible daily. Find a Bible reading plan that’s right for you. A plan will keep you from missing anything God has written in His Word. Also, if you follow the plan, you’ll be on your way to reading through the Bible once every year! The easiest way to truly “grow up” in the faith is to make Bible reading a priority.
2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Let Your Light Shine
July 9, 2014Proud to Be an American
July 5, 2014
As Christians we need to be proud to be Americans. We have responsibilities as citizens. Stand up for our freedoms given to us by the constitution. Vote so that the government is run by leaders of our choice. Teach our children and grandchildren, first the principles taught in the Bible, then the history of the USA.
Ephesians 6:14-17
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
We Still Trust in God

Several Pastors got “Little Display” boards at the conference we attended this past week. These boards are 81/2″ by 11″ and can easily be carried in a briefcase, backpack or luggage.
One of the Pastors is taking his to Jamaica next week, and several are using their displays for visitation in their home state.
We may never know here on earth how many people hear the gospel with SOS Events tracts, displays and soul winning tools the ministry provides, but we do know thar God is blessing and He gives the increase.
To God be the glory.
2 Corinthians 4:5-6
For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus ‘sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
Wait on The Lord
June 25, 2014Psalms 27:14
Wait on the Lord:
be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart:wait, I say, on the Lord.
Sometimes it is hard to wait on the Lord for something we want or need. Tom Curtis ( founder of SOS) has been ill for 6 weeks and had to stay in bed most of that time.
He knew to be well he had to wait until The Lord gave him strength.today he is able to go to the conference that SOS is participating in at Saint Petersburg, Fl. Praise The Lord.
Salvation, Then Change
June 22, 2014“Practically every false doctrine comes from getting things out of order. God’s divine order is salvation, then change; not change and then salvation! If one has to be changed to be saved, that’s salvation by works. It is also salvation by the flesh. The truth is, one is cleansed from the sins of the flesh just as he is saved; by yielding to the Holy Spirit and letting Him do His work.” ~Jack Hyles
When witnessing we often hear excuses why a person can not be saved now. A common excuse is “I need to quit _____________ before I can be saved.
(You fill in the blank)
Have you ever heard the expression, Putting the card before the horse?
The above quote is exactly right. A person is never good enough to be saved, that is why Jesus died to pay for our sins. When witnessing pray that the Holy Spirit will convict the person to understand that salvation is by accepting Christ, not by changing their lifestyle.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.
