Carolyn Curtis is blessed to celebrate her daughter, Judy’s retirement. They are spending a few days at Panama City Beach in Florida enjoying the beautiful weather, good food and fellowship. Even Jesus got away to rest for awhile, but there is nowhere in the Bible that talks about retirement from God’s work. In fact, Christians who are blessed with good health and do not have to go to a secular job should spend more tim working for the Lord. If you are blessed to be in that position and are looking for a way to Serve Our Savior contact SOS Events ministry and we will help you to get started on the best “job” you will ever have and the pay is great….treasure in Heaven. (All our workers are volunteers)
John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Two of the SOS Events staff went to check out public events in their area yesterday that SOS Events may have opportunity to have a booth in the future. Both events had hundreds of people that probably the majority were not saved. You have opportunities in your area also, however, the problem is Christians who are unwilling to go soul winning at an event. Look around. Hundreds of people who do not know how to get to Heaven because we are too lazy or have “more important” things to do than be a witness for the Lord. Let the Holy Spirit search your heart.
Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

Do we as Christians deny our Lord by keeping our mouths shut instead of witnessing like the Bible commands? We talk about everything else but when it comes to telling someone about the Lord we don’t. Why is it that a group of Christians will be happy to go for hours to fellowship but will not take 3 or 4 hours a week, a month or even a year to witness? It is time we stop being ashamed and be like Paul who wrote the book of Romans in the New Testament. Are we silent because we are ashamed?

Judas betrayed Jesus, Peter denied Him and the rest of the disciples an away. Jesus understands the hurt we may be facing because He went through suffering and rejection. Do we also turn away from Him?
Luke 22:61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Are you following the crowd? On Palm Sunday the crowd yelled “Hosanna” and one week later they cried “Crucify Him”. Following the crowd can lead you into wrong decisions.
Luke 23:21 But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

“If Satan can’t make you bad, he’ll make you busy.” Adrian Rogers
Many of us are busy. Busy doing what is the question. Too busy to serve The Lord by doing things that do not matter? God wants us to serve Him. Prayer, Bible study, Worship, Witnessing and Obeying Him is what He wants from us as Christians. Spend time everyday serving Him. Do not be too busy.
Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Someone said that “Florida is a graveyard for Christians.” The meaning: they move to Florida to “retire” and they think their work is done including work for the Lord. Sometimes it is hard to get older folks to do anything for Jesus and yet they are the ones who have the time and resources to do more for Him than they ever could when they were working. God intends ALL of us us to work until He calls us home no matter what our age. Are you living in the graveyard?
John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

Social media can be a blessing or a curse. It’s how we use what is given to us that is important. It can bring evil or good into peoples lives. TV, radio and the Internet can bring truth or lies into the lives of anyone who will listen. Our goal is Christians should be to use social media to further the gospel and truth. Today, reach out to someone through Facebook, WeChat or Instagram to encourage them to follow the Lord. You will be amazed at what you can do by just telling someone you are thinking of them and praying for them.
Mark 5:20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.
