“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
Jesus spoke these words to comfort His followers. He reminds us that His return is certain, His promise is personal, and His purpose is eternal. He is not only preparing Heaven for us—He is preparing us for Heaven.
This verse reassures believers that Jesus has not forgotten us; He will return, gather His people, and we will be with Him forever. Until then, we live with hope, confidence, and joy knowing our future is secure in Jesus.
