Monday morning, we need a little humor.
The message is clear however. What we need is Jesus!

Truth! The Bible tells us to worship Him in spirit and in truth!
What is the truth? God sent His Son, Jesus, to die on the cross, was buried and then rose from the dead 3 days later.
Jesus died that you and I can have eternal life. He alone can save you from the penalty of sin.
Worship the truth today. Jesus!

Colossians 3:23 – And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

Today we set aside a day to celebrate our love for someone.
Love and romance. In reality everyday should be a day we show love. Not only for that special person, but to all our family, friends and neighbors.
God’s Word is very clear when it comes to love.
He loves each of us with a love so great, He sent His Son, Jesus, to earth to die on a cross, be buried and rise from death, so our sin can be forgiven and we can have everlasting life.
Then He tells us to love one another.
True unconditional love.
So, Happy Valentine’s Day. Today and every day show love to one another.

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day. A day set aside to show love to a sweetheart, spouse, or friend!
God’s Word tells us to love, not only on one day a year but every day.
If you have that special someone, then show them that love tomorrow. Candy, flowers or a card. Be thankful for them.
Some do not have the pleasure of having that loved one. It can be a hard day for them. If you know a widow or a single person who may be sad, do something special for them.
A phone call, card or message will be especially welcome.
Sharing the love of God could be the one thing that could bring lasting joy into the heart of that person.

Love puts the other person ahead of yourself.
One of the first things a young child says is me or mine. We are born with a sin nature.
When we repent and trust Jesus as our Savior, His Word tells us to love one another and put them first.
Sometimes that is not easy to do, but with His help we can.
Today, show love to someone. A phone call, card, maybe just a hug is what you can do to show your love for them.

This is a very familiar verse to many of us. So familiar that we sometimes don’t realize the importance of the words.
We know God loves the world. And we forget He loves each individual. God loves you.
Whosoever means you and me as individuals. God sent Jesus to die on the cross, be buried and 3 days later Jesus rose from the dead.
If you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, trust His love today.
Turn from your sin ask Jesus to forgive you. Accept His great love for you.

Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times? Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven. Matthew 18:21-22
Forgive! Forgiveness is a choice. Forgive someone who has hurt you. It may be your parents, sibling, friend or enemy.
Forgiveness will free you. Jesus said 70 times 7. Seven, God’s perfect number. How can we forgive? Ask Jesus to help you. Not only to forgive but to forget and move on.
