Our freedoms are being taken away everyday in the USA. Now a few people want to take under God out of our Pledge of Allegiance. Wake up Americans. It is time we stand up and tell these atheists and others who do not love America, do not love God to either shut up or get out.
Our country was founded on Christian principles and preachers did preach about political issues of the day. It is time we get back to speaking out against ungodly ideas. We can write our political leaders and tell them how we feel. They work for us, not the other way around. What will you do?

The Holy Spirit

Going nowhere?
August 8, 2013Do you ever feel like you are treading water and going nowhere? Taking 2 steps forward and one step back. Sometimes in ministry that is how it seems.
Then comes the Holy Spirit speaking in your heart scripture that has been memorized. A favorite is: Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Proverbs 3:6
In all thy ways acknowledge him,
and he shall direct thy paths.
God is faithful. He does direct our paths.

July 23, 2013There is no place like home. When away from home, even if there are blessings in seeing family and friends, we long to be home. Our hearts beat a little faster, and the excitement builds as we come nearer to our destination.
As we drive into the yard we are so happy. Home!
Then we realize that this is temporary. Our permanent home is waiting. Our hearts beat a little faster and the excitement builds as we come closer to that Heavenly Home.
What a day that will be when we fly into our HOME!
Are we ready? Trusting Jesus as our Savior is the ticket.
