Needed Prayer! Today is our last training for soul winners for the Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Florida. The Festival starts Thursday and SOS is still in need of Christians to be a witnesses.
Pray with us that laborers will come to help us and then pray for SOULS to be saved.
This is a great opportunity as people from many states and even several countries come to the Strawberry Festival every year.

Flea Markets are a gold mine for evangelism. SOS Events now use Flea markets to train others and win the lost. SOS are seeing great success for presenting the gospel. The salvation leads are given to churches who are willing to do follow up. SOS Events also has a great follow up decipleship program. We are always looking for new churches and people to add to our team approach to bring the lost to Christ. When a church desires to learn another method to reach the lost give SOS a try. In Plant City, Fl one of the big events is Strawberry Festival. SOS has a booth in the festival every year for the past 10 years. In that time there has been over 2500 souls that made decisions for Christ.
This year the event is from February 28-March 9. We have volunteers who work for 4 hours in the booth winning people tp The Lord. It takes 12 people per day to man the booth.

Do you get excited about serving The Lord? SOS Events main purpose is winning the lost to Christ and training others how to become soul winners, however, there are a lot of things that go on to keep the ministry running smoothly.
Book work, printing, making displays, creating new tools to help make witnessing easier, maintenance on the property, and many more things to numerous to mention. All these things are necessary to a growing ministry and sometimes the tasks seem overwhelming.
Then at the end of the day we look back and feel that everything that we did that day went well and much was accomplished. Yesterday was one of those days.
What a blessing to see projects get finished. All the goals for the day done. New excitement about serving The Lord and seeing Him give wisdom and blessing. To Him be the Glory!!

Today is a busy day around the SOS property. Senior Servants meet today. This is a group of 20 or more ladies from at least 5 different churches in the area for one common goal. To help in whatever way they can to further the gospel through SOS Events Ministry.
They come together in harmony to enjoy work, fellowship and lunch. Please pray for them today. Several come physical pain, having to use canes or walkers, some have problems that come from being alone but they are faithful. This group started with 3 ladies about 3 years ago and the group grows every month.
We are so thankful to have these volunteers to help in the labour for The Lord.

Kathy led Kenny 57, from Auburndale, FL to the lord on December 1, 2012. He returned today simply to say thanks for telling him about Jesus Christ. When he stopped by our booth in 2012, he was depressed & near suicide because his wife had just died & the funeral was two days away. Kenny said his life seemed worthless & without meaning. All of us who were sharing the Gospel that day remember Kenny as we prayed & cried with & for him. We wondered if we would ever see him again. Kenny is attending a good church & has completed all of the “Source Of Light” correspondence Bible studies we offer through SOS. To God be the glory. The next time someone doubts the efficacy of Biblical evangelism, tell them Kenny’s testimony & ask them what they’re doing to win the lost to Jesus Christ.

Yesterday a phone call to the SOS office that was a great blessing. One of the mothers of a student that attends Faith Christian School in New Jersey was so excited. Her daughter had been in the chapel service on Friday and heard about the way to witness using “I Have Two Birthdays”. This is a new way that SOS uses to tell people of the second birth.
This Mother said that her daughter, age 9, was telling her friends how to be saved. Both mother and daughter wanted SOS to know that their lives had been changed through the ministry.
Thanks to you who are praying for events this weekend. Several were saved at Harvest Hayride in New Jersey last night. Also, Tom and Carolyn Curtis spoke in chapel yesterday morning and 7 children asked Jesus to come into their hearts so they could have 2 birthdays. (The fist birth is physical, the second spiritual)
SOS Events have many Fall Festivals and other events in the next 2 weekends. In New Jersey, tonight and tomorrow, 3000 people are expected at Harvest Hayride. Many unsaved people attend this event. Please pray for souls to be saved.
In Florida several events are taking place, including the regular weekly flea markets. Pray for souls to be saved and strength for the SOS teams throughout the USA.
The Lord is blessing this ministry and your prayers are an important part of success at these events.

This is one of the ways SOS uses to get people to come and talk to us when we are at an event. People are curious and will come to ask the answer. Then we have the opportunity to share the gospel with them and many will ask Jesus into their heart.
