Grandchildren are a blessing

April 2, 2013

Today we reflect on our grandchildren who are serving The Lord as they reach maturity. In the Curtis family ther are 40 grandchildren from the smallest ( one on the way) to mature adults with children of their own.The teens are a special blessing as all of them are following The Lord in music and ministry.
Yesterday we had a wonderful report from the Webster, Fl flea market where 2 different sets of grandparents brought their grandchildren to the SOS booth to be saved. The results were great. In both cases the teens were saved and the grandparents rejoiced. Proverbs 17:6 Children’s children are the crown of old men…..

To much to ask?

March 29, 2013

Today is a day to reflect on God’s love for us. John 3:16 is a familiar verse to most of us and sometimes overlooked because of its familiarity. Nevertheless, it is one of the most powerful verses in the Bible.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlsting life.”
God gave his Son, Jesus gave his life for us so we can go to Heaven. Do you think it is to much for him to ask us to give our lives in service to him?

God’s Wisdom

December 5, 2012

God’s wisdom is seen in the making of an elephant:

The four legs of this great beast all bend forward in the same direction.

No other quadruped is so made.

God planned that this animal would have a huge
body–too large to live on two legs.

For this reason, He gave it four
fulcrums so that it can rise from the ground easily.

The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first.

A cow rises from the ground with its two hind legs first.

How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation!

Food for Thought

Men build our churches, but do not enter them
Print our BIBLES,  but do not read them
Talk about GOD, but do not believe in Him
Speak of CHRIST, but do not trust Him for salvation
