April 30, 2014Seven Sayings of Jesus
April 18, 2014In the Bible there are seven things Jesus said during the 6 hours He hung on the cross. Because today is called Good Friday, most Christians will reflect on the death of Jesus on the cross.
So much is said in those 7 sayings that volumes of books have not been able to explain all of it.
Forgiveness, Heaven, honor of parents, relationship to God the Father, physical needs, finished work and finally death.
Jesus suffered that death for you and me. Praise The Lord.
Luke 23:34: Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.
Luke 23:43: Verily, I say to you today, you will be with me in paradise.
John 19:26–27: Woman, behold your son. Behold your mother.
Matthew 27:46 & Mark 15:34 My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken me?
John 19:28: I thirst.
John 19:29-30: It is finished.
Luke 23:46: Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.
God’s Love
April 15, 2014God proved His love on the cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, “I love you.”
Billy Graham
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Quote by D.L. Moody
March 22, 2014“The Bible was not given for our information but for our transformation.”
― D.L. Moody
Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world:but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
