After a very successful trip to the Midwest Tom and Carolyn rejoice to be back in Florida where the weather is much cooler. They marvel that Florida temperatures are about 10 degrees less than Iowa and Indiana.
A total of 45 souls came to know the Lord as they traveled and many old friendships were renewed.
Several young people are now in full time ministry or preparing for the ministry from their previous visit in 2005. It is always a joy to know that God uses SOS ministry to change lives.
Two ways you can be in prayer for the churches and people. First pray that the new Christians will be grounded in God’s Word through Bible study and prayer, also that they will join a local church in their area. Then pray for rain in the Midwest. The crops, especially corn has dried up due to lack of rain. The farmers are really hurting and need your prayers.for rain and for God to become real in their lives. The pastors and congregations have opportunity to show love and compassion on their neighbors in this time of need.
