As the Alabama National Fair came to a close, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for all that God has done through SOS Events Ministry!
Throughout the Fair, faithful SOS Events volunteers welcomed visitors to our ministry booth, where they shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ using our simple witnessing tool, “The Three Things God Cannot Do.” This presentation helps people understand God’s love, His plan of salvation, and how they can know for sure they are going to Heaven.
We cannot thank our wonderful volunteers enough for their dedication, hard work, and willingness to share the Good News. Although we did not get pictures of everyone who served, God knows each one, and we are so thankful for every volunteer!
We are also excited to see SOS Events Alabama continuing to grow! During the Fair, five new volunteers were trained and immediately had the opportunity to put their training into practice by sharing the Gospel with visitors passing by the booth.
What a blessing to see the results!
● 25 people accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior!
● 23 people received assurance of their salvation through Scripture and a better understanding of their relationship with Jesus Christ.
● 8 additional people returned to hear more Scripture but were not yet ready to make a decision. We will continue to pray for them and encourage them through Bible study and follow-up.
● 1,061 people stopped at our ministry board and heard the Gospel message.
● Several thousand Gospel tracts were distributed, giving people an opportunity to read God’s Word and learn about salvation.
Every number represents a precious soul, someone whom God loves and for whom Jesus died.
We rejoice over those who received Christ, and we continue to pray for the many others who heard the Gospel. Only eternity will reveal the full impact of the seeds planted during this wonderful event.
Luke 15:10 (KJV)
“Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.”
Thank you to everyone who volunteered, prayed, and supported this outreach. Your faithfulness is making an eternal difference!
To God be the glory, great things He hath done!
