One of the few things we can control each day is our attitude. We cannot control the weather, the economy, or even the actions of other people. But we can choose how we respond to the circumstances God allows into our lives.
A positive, Christ-centered attitude does not mean pretending that problems do not exist. It means trusting God in the middle of those problems. When we face disappointments with faith, serve others with joy, and remain thankful even during difficult seasons, we become a testimony of God’s grace to those around us.
At SOS Events, we often find that people are drawn not only to what we say, but to the spirit in which we say it. A cheerful attitude can open doors for witnessing that a negative spirit may close. Whether at a flea market, car show, church event, or in the office, our attitude reflects our relationship with Christ.
Today, ask yourself: Does my attitude point others to Jesus? May we choose gratitude over complaining, kindness over criticism, and faith over fear.
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
— Colossians 3:23 (KJV)
